Adoption Process
Potential adopters are required to complete a preliminary application, which we will review. If the application is approved, the adopters will sign a contract and enter a two-week trial period. This trial period allows us to ensure that the adoption is a good fit for all parties involved. Our adoption fees are $150 for most dogs, $100 for senior dogs, and $250 for puppies.

We primarily serve the Cleveland and Akron areas of Ohio, as well as the state of Ohio as a whole.

Canine Lifeline is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing adoptable dogs from euthanasia in shelters, which can occur due to overcrowding or treatable medical conditions like heartworm. All of our dogs are placed in foster homes across northeast Ohio.
