People's Anti-Cruelty Association/Albuquerque Animal Rescue in Albuquerque, NM

PACA / AAR, established in 1973, is the oldest no-kill animal rescue organization in New Mexico. Our primary focus is on rescuing abandoned and abused cats and dogs. We ensure that all animals receive necessary medical care, spay/neuter services, and any required major surgeries. Additionally, we offer a safe haven for these animals until they are placed in adoptive homes. Through our foster care program, we place animals in home environments, which allows us to assess their personalities and individual needs. This careful evaluation enables us to match each animal with the most suitable adoptive person or family, ensuring a successful transition to their new home.
