Forgotten Felines of Corbin KY inc in Corbin, KY
Our organization primarily focuses on a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. Additionally, we provide care for sick and injured cats and rescue animals from local shelters when euthanasia is imminent. In our region, the euthanasia rate for cats is 78%, and we are the only feline-based rescue in southeastern Kentucky, highlighting our crucial role in addressing this issue. The director, who is a veterinary technician at our clinic, was inspired to start this program after witnessing firsthand the challenges facing cats in our area and the lack of regard for their welfare.
