Love You More Animal Rescue in West Chicago, IL

I have over 16 years of experience in corporate America, specifically in the healthcare sector, after starting my career with blue-collar jobs at the age of 14. My husband, Joe, has a similar background but pursued further education and earned a master’s degree, ultimately becoming a CPA and working in finance for many years. In 2016, we made a significant decision to relocate our four children from our comfortable home in Wheaton, Illinois, to a modest farmhouse on a 5.5-acre farm in West Chicago, Illinois, which has only two bedrooms and one bathroom. We essentially invested everything we had in this venture. I resigned from my corporate position and launched Our Family Pet Sitting Resort & Spa LLC in April 2016. From the outset, we chose to forgo revenue from five to ten kennel spaces to provide foster care for rescue animals in need, as well as offering complimentary services such as boarding, daycare, training, and grooming to various rescue organizations. Our aspiration to establish our own rescue organization became our primary motivation, allowing us to support others while sustaining our family. We experienced success from the beginning, with profitable years except for the flat year during the COVID-19 pandemic. As our business continued to grow, we took the next step and established our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Love You More Animal Rescue. I take great pride in the work we are doing. Joe now manages Our Family Pet Sitting, LLC, alongside our daughter and son, while I focus on Love You More Animal Rescue full time. After receiving my final documentation from the state on October 17, 2022, I immediately began rescuing nine dogs from euthanasia just five days later, on October 22, 2022. I did not hesitate to take action.
