Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the completion of an adoption application. Our team will review your application, which includes contacting your veterinarian and personal references, as well as conducting an interview with you. Once you receive approval to adopt from our rescue, you will have a conversation with the foster caregiver of the animal you are interested in to assess if your home is a suitable match. If this discussion is positive, a meet and greet will be arranged, either virtually or in person, depending on COVID-19 considerations. If the meet and greet is successful, the adoption will be finalized through a contract and invoice, allowing you to take the animal home.
