Feline Lifeline in Easley, SC

Feline Lifeline's mission is to provide homeless cats with a chance for a better life, focusing on those still living on the streets rather than those already in public animal shelters. Many of these cats survive by scavenging and often produce litters of kittens that face the same hardships as their parents. Feline Lifeline supports outdoor cats that form "colonies." Most of these cats are too fearful of humans to be adopted as pets. The organization traps these cats and brings them to a veterinarian for vaccinations, spaying or neutering, and treatment for fleas and worms, along with care for any other health issues. Cats that cannot be socialized are returned to their original locations, where their living conditions are enhanced with shelters when feasible, and they receive daily food. Cats that are tame are placed into loving homes.
