Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the submission and review of an application. Following this, potential adopters will have a meet and greet at the foster home. If both parties agree to proceed, an adoption contract will be signed, and a fee will be required.

PURR Paws Up Rescue and Resources in GREENVILLE, SC

Our organization was established in November 2016 with the mission of assisting kittens and adult cats in local shelters. Over time, we have expanded our focus to include community needs, such as caring for kittens that require bottle feeding. We operate on a foster-based model, which means we can accept new cats only when we have available foster homes. Additionally, we strive to educate the community about resources and services related to cat care, including free or low-cost spay/neuter options, trap-neuter-return (TNR) practices, and the construction of community cat shelters. We believe that many individuals would be willing to help animals if provided with the necessary information and support.
