Adoption Process

Our adoption process is guided by specific criteria, which include that dogs are to be kept indoors and that adopters must be at least 21 years old. Additionally, dogs must never be chained or subjected to shock. Interested applicants are required to complete an adoption application, which includes a veterinary reference check and a home visit prior to finalizing the adoption. Once all steps in this process are successfully completed, adopters will sign an adoption contract and pay the applicable fees. The fees vary based on the age of the dog and are detailed on our Petfinder page.

Black Tie Boston Rescue, Inc in Little River, SC

The primary mission of the BTBR is to rescue Boston Terriers and, when resources allow, small Boston Terrier mixes from situations of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. This includes dogs surrendered by their owners as well as those from animal shelters and other welfare organizations. Our official mission reflects our commitment to these dogs. In essence, we are a dedicated group of volunteers who rescue Boston Terriers out of love for the breed and a strong desire to prevent suffering among neglected, injured, or abandoned dogs.
