The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is dedicated to finding safe and permanent homes for abandoned animals, reducing the overpopulation of dogs and cats, and educating the community about responsible pet ownership. Adoption process
The adoption fee ranges from $60 to $125. Applicants are required to complete a questionnaire to provide us with information about their home and lifestyle. Depending on the situation, we may conduct a home visit or check veterinary references. If the applicant is renting, we will need verification from their landlord. Additionally, applicants must sign an adoption contract agreeing to comply with animal ordinances and to provide appropriate exercise, care, and veterinary services for the adopted animal.
