Adoption Process

The adoption process includes submitting an application, providing personal and veterinary references, participating in a phone interview, and undergoing a home visit. There is an adoption donation fee of $250.

Noble Shepherd Rescue in Columbia, SC

We are an approved non-profit corporation registered in the state of South Carolina and have received 501(c)(3) status from the IRS. We do not operate a public shelter; instead, our companion animals are cared for in approved foster homes, allowing them to adjust more easily to a family environment. Our goal is to find permanent homes for as many animals as possible with individuals who recognize and value the loyalty and nobility characteristic of the breed. All of our dogs undergo a veterinary examination upon rescue, are spayed or neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations, and tested for heartworms. Additionally, they are temperament tested, assessed for food aggression, evaluated for compatibility with other dogs and children, and extensively socialized prior to being placed on our adoption list.
