The Heartworm Project in West Columbia, SC

The Heartworm Project is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to providing medical care for shelter animals in need. Established in 2004, the organization initially focused on treating dogs with heartworm disease at local shelters facing euthanasia due to their condition. Over the years, we have broadened our scope to include dogs and cats of all ages requiring medical interventions that the shelters are unable to provide.
