Stray Love Foundation, Inc. in Magnolia Springs, AL

The Stray Love Foundation officially began advocating for the local animal community in 2010. As a foster-based animal rescue group, it has successfully placed over 1,400 animals into stable, safe, and loving homes both locally and across the country. The Foundation has four main missions: First, to assist stray, injured, and abandoned animals through veterinary care, fostering, and adoption; second, to conduct trap, neuter, and return (TNR) projects in collaboration with the Foley Police Department; third, to support the elderly and low-income individuals with pet care, including veterinary expenses, spay/neuter services, and re-homing when necessary, known as the Big Love Projects; and fourth, to provide educational outreach programs to children and local groups to raise awareness about the significance of companion animals and the importance of treating all animals with kindness and compassion. The founder, who had a long history of individual rescues, recognized an increased demand for animal rescue following the BP Oil spill after moving to the Gulf Coast. In response, she collaborated with peers to establish a board and formally launched the Stray Love Foundation in April 2010.
