Helping Shepherds of Every Color in Montgomery, AL
We are Helping Shepherds of Every Color, committed to supporting German Shepherd Dogs (GSDs) of all colors and backgrounds, without discrimination. Recognizing the significant need for assistance among GSDs, we have dedicated ourselves to providing help. Many of the GSDs we have assisted in the past have come from the Humane Society of Elmore County, which has led to our light-hearted nickname, Helping Shepherds of Elmore County.

Adoption process
The adoption process includes submitting an application, checking references and veterinary records, conducting a home visit, signing an adoption contract, and paying an adoption fee, which varies based on the animal.
- Service area
- We primarily serve Central Alabama, but we will consider out-of-state adoptions on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, we occasionally accept animals from outside the state.
