Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, please complete an adoption application on our website. After submission, one of our adoption counselors will reach out to you for a phone interview. If you have any existing pets, a veterinary reference check will be conducted. Once your application is approved, you are invited to visit any of our five cat and kitten rooms to meet our wonderful cats. After selecting a cat you would like to adopt, we ask that you take a brief pause and leave the facility for thirty minutes. This "cool down" period, referred to as "going on walk about," allows you to reflect on your decision. Upon your return, please bring a carrier for your new cat, as they will be going home with you. The adoption fee is $115 per cat, which includes spay or neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, microchipping, deworming, and vaccinations. You will need to sign an adoption contract and will receive copies of your cat's medical records. We also offer a lifetime return policy for all of our cats and kittens.

We serve the following areas: Cary, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham, Apex, Wake County, and Orange County.

Cat Angels Pet Adoptions, Inc in Cary, NC

Cat Angels Pet Adoptions is a dedicated cat and kitten rescue and adoption organization located in the Triangle Area of North Carolina. As a no-kill shelter, our mission is to assist homeless, abandoned, and abused cats and kittens in finding safe, loving, and permanent homes. Each cat and kitten available for adoption is spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, microchipped with a Home Again microchip, and dewormed. We proudly offer a Lifetime Return Policy for all of our cats and kittens, allowing us to accept them back into our program for any reason. In addition, we run a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program to support homeless cats, and we strive to take in as many kittens as possible, providing socialization to prepare them for adoption.
