Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the applicant completing an adoption application. Following this, a veterinary check is conducted, and a home visit is required. The applicants will then meet the dog they intend to adopt. If everything proceeds smoothly, the adoption fee will be paid, and an adoption contract will be signed.

My name is Dr. Terry D. Ford, and I serve as the President of Mississippi Boston Terrier Rescue. Our organization is committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Boston Terriers that have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We also accept dogs from individuals who voluntarily relinquish them due to an inability to care for them. Each dog is placed in loving foster homes, where we address any medical issues and ensure that all dogs are spayed or neutered before being placed for adoption with pre-approved, caring families.
