Clark County Dog Shelter in Springfield, OH

The Clark County Dog Shelter is operated by the Clark County Dog Wardens and is the county's municipal shelter. The wardens bring the stray dogs that are impounded throughout the county here to be held for their owners. Dogs that are not claimed are offered for adoption or placed with rescues. We do euthanize dogs upon veterinarian recommendation (illness/injury not treatable) or that are dangerous.
