Larimer Humane Society is a humane society serving Larimer County in Fort Collins, Colorado, located about 6 miles north of the city. For more than 50 years the organization has focused on creating forever families for homeless pets, offering adoption of dogs, cats, and small critters alongside lost-and-found pet services, low-cost vaccine clinics, and animal protection and control services for area communities. Regular hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Five other animal shelters or rescues also operate within Larimer County, giving local pet owners and adopters several options in the area.
