Mill Dog Rescue Network is a dog rescue based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, located in El Paso County, about 15 miles southwest of the city. Its mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome discarded breeding dogs and to educate the public about the cruel realities of the commercial dog breeding industry. The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and offers adoption, fostering, and volunteer programs for dogs coming out of commercial mill environments. El Paso County is also home to 22 other animal shelters and rescues, making it a hub of animal welfare activity in the region.
