Foothills Animal Rescue is a rescue organization located in Scottsdale, Arizona, roughly 15 miles south of Scottsdale within Maricopa County, where 90 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. What began as a small foster-based rescue in 1995 has grown into one of the Valley's most trusted animal welfare organizations, helping more than 1,000 dogs and cats find brighter futures each year through adoption, foster care, and community support. The organization operates on a managed admissions intake model and maintains a save rate well above the 90% threshold that defines "no-kill" status, with adoption fees ranging from $0 to $300 that include vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. Foothills is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00AM to 5:00PM, and further supports its lifesaving work through Daisy's Rescued Goods, a pair of resale boutiques whose proceeds fund the rescue's programs.
