Sun Cities Animal Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization located in Glendale, Arizona, about six miles east of the city in Maricopa County, where 90 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. Since 1991, it served as a safe haven for dogs and cats in need, helping hundreds of animals find forever homes through the dedication of its staff and volunteers. The organization has since passed on its mission of caring for animals to Halo Animal Rescue.
