About this shelter

Plateauland Mobile Veterinary Clinic in Flagstaff, AZ

Plateauland Mobile Veterinary Clinic is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal shelter based in Flagstaff, Arizona, roughly 120 miles south of Glendale, in Coconino County, where 10 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. Its mission is to reduce the overpopulation and improve the health of companion animals by offering low-cost spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and general health care, primarily on the Hopi, Navajo, Apache, Hualapai, and Yavapai Reservations as well as off-reservation sites throughout Northern Arizona. Staff members provide hands-on care and rehabilitation, as seen with Butterscotch, a puppy treated for parvo at the Hualapai Reservation clinic and later adopted rather than euthanized as originally requested.
