Adoption Process

We conduct a home visit for individuals interested in adopting a Labrador Retriever. A foster caregiver will bring the dog to the prospective adopter's home to meet the family. After a 24-hour waiting period, the adoption may proceed if deemed appropriate. The adoption fee varies between $175 and $395, depending on the dog's age. A Terms of Adoption agreement must be signed.

DLRR is a completely volunteer-run organization. I have been a volunteer for seven years and have held various positions within the rescue, including that of past president. I remain involved to support the dogs in need.
