The Animal League of Green Valley (TALGV) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal shelter located in Green Valley, Arizona, about 20 miles north of Tucson in Pima County, where 32 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. TALGV is a private, donation-funded, volunteer, not-for-profit organization whose vision is "A Home for Every Pet," with a mission to provide shelter, compassionate care, training, adoption opportunities, emotional support, and medical care for needy and homeless cats and dogs in Green Valley and surrounding areas. It operates as a no-kill shelter, and cats and dogs that remain at TALGV for two or more years come with Vet Care Support For Life. The organization also runs The Attic Thrift Store to help fund its operations, relying heavily on monetary donations from the community.
