Adoption Process

Adoptions are done in person at a shelter location on a first-come, first-served basis: you visit and meet available pets, an adoption counselor reviews the animal's history and behavior with you, and if it's a match you complete paperwork and pay the adoption fee the same day to take your pet home. Bring a valid photo ID with your current address (or proof of residence) and, if you have a resident dog, bring them for a dog-dog meet and greet.
