Adoption process
The adoption fee is $40.00, of which $25.00 is refunded in the form of a spay/neuter certificate, which can be used when the surgery is performed. Applicants are required to complete a questionnaire and review an adoption contract. Additionally, a copy of the West Virginia Spay/Neuter law will be discussed with adopters, as spaying or neutering is mandatory when adopting from our facility. Adoptions can be completed on the same day.
