Feline Friends in Olympia, WA
Our Mission Statement Feline Friends is a non-profit cat rescue organization that primarily serves Thurston and Mason Counties. We provide care for stray cats and work to secure permanent, quality adoptions. Our Vision Statement We aim to serve the community through the rescue and placement of stray cats and kittens, as well as offering low-income spay and neuter services. We are dedicated to preventing cruelty to cats and kittens through education and are committed to promoting spay and neuter efforts to reduce and ultimately eliminate the unnecessary euthanasia and abandonment of unwanted cats and kittens. Policies We enforce a pre-adoption spay and neuter program and require Feline Leukemia and AIDS testing for all companion felines prior to adoption. We discourage the euthanasia of healthy cats and kittens and strive to place our rescue cats and kittens in permanent, caring homes. Cat House and Adoption Center Purpose Statement The purpose of the Feline Friends Cat House and Adoption Center is to facilitate the adoption of cats and kittens into loving, permanent homes. We accomplish this by adhering to four fundamental values: Quality: We ensure the health and welfare of the cats and kittens by providing a clean and socially stimulating environment. Service: We maintain a comfortable and safe location for prospective families to meet and interact with our adoptable cats. Dedication: We assist individuals in choosing the right cat for their family and aim to make the adoption process a positive experience. Education: We share information about cat-related issues to enhance the lives of both cats and their guardians.
