Oldies But Goodies Cocker Rescue, Inc in Arlington, VA

OBG Cocker Rescue was founded in 1996 with the mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cocker spaniels, spaniel mixes, and honorary cockers. We operate through a network of foster homes, as we do not maintain a shelter facility. In 2009, we successfully placed over 330 dogs in adoptive homes, and in 2010, we placed 300 dogs. All animals in our care are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and receive necessary medical treatments, including surgeries for ACL, cataracts, glaucoma, cherry eye, and ear issues. Our organization is supported by approximately 200 volunteers, with about half actively involved, and we currently care for around 100 dogs.
