Prospective adopters must be 18 or older, show ID with their current address, have landlord consent if renting, and be willing/able to spend the time and money to care for a pet; they complete a detailed application, may be contacted for a home visit, and if approved must sign a legal contract and pay a nonrefundable adoption fee.
