About this shelter

Save Our Setters, Inc. (West Texas Branch Office) in Midland, TX

Save Our Setters, Inc. operates a West Texas Branch Office in Midland, Texas, located in Midland County, where two other animal shelters or rescues also serve the area; the branch sits roughly 180 miles northwest of Roswell, NM. The rescue specializes in Irish, Gordon, and Irish Red & White Setters, taking in owner surrenders and shelter dogs and relying on a standby network of foster homes since surrendered or shelter-held Setters often need placement quickly. Adoption and fostering both require a completed application, and the organization funds its work entirely through donations and fundraising, receiving no state or federal funding and no support from the Irish Setter Club of America Rescue Fund or other breed-club sources.
