About this shelter
Animal Angels Rescue and Rehab in Jacksboro, TX
Animal Angels Rescue and Rehab is a rescue organization based in Jacksboro, Texas, in Jack County, about 60 miles southeast of Fort Worth, and one other animal shelter or rescue also serves Jack County. The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and an accredited member of the American Sanctuary Association, providing rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and lifelong sanctuary care for abused, neglected, and abandoned dogs, cats, and other animals. Many animals placed at the sanctuary live out their natural lives there when they are not adopted due to age or physical disability, and the organization strongly promotes spaying and neutering as a way to reduce euthanasia and homelessness. It also operates a virtual sponsorship program that lets supporters help cover the ongoing needs of senior and special-needs animals in its care.
