Who We Are: We are a group of dedicated residents from Cumberland and surrounding counties who are passionate about animal welfare. We operate as a not-for-profit membership corporation. Our Mission: Our mission is to decrease the rate of animal euthanasia by promoting animal adoptions, rescuing healthy animals, providing temporary foster homes, and advocating for spay and neuter programs. What We Do: We rescue companion animals from life-threatening situations and place them in foster care within our members' homes. We provide necessary medical treatment, including spaying or neutering, socialize the animals, and prepare them for adoption into loving, permanent homes. We do not maintain kennels or facilities, allowing all our funding to be directed solely toward the care of our animals. Why We Do It: Our efforts are focused on reducing the high rates of euthanasia in the counties we serve.

Adoption process

The adoption fee for dogs is $80, and for cats, it is $65. This fee includes spaying or neutering, de-worming, testing for feline leukemia and FIV for cats or heartworm for dogs, as well as age-appropriate routine vaccinations. We encourage all adopters to provide an indoor environment for their pets, and an adoption contract must be signed.

Service area: We serve the areas of Crossville, Pleasant Hill, and Fairfield Glade, as well as Cumberland, Fentress, White, Morgan, and Bledsoe counties.
