Star's Rat Rescue is a small, private rescue organization located in Winner, South Dakota, in Tripp County, about 90 miles east of Mitchell, SD. Its mission is to rescue rats in need and find them the best possible loving homes, providing each rattie a caring home for as long as it takes to find the right adopter. As a small operation, the rescue takes the time to socialize each rat individually, and it never places any of its rescues into homes as snake food.
