Project Purr is an all-volunteer, nonprofit rescue organization based in Santa Cruz, California, dedicated to feral cats and kittens throughout Santa Cruz County. The organization funds a spay/neuter TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) program and provides resources and support for feral cat colony caretakers, while also fostering rescued cats and kittens for adoption and offering barn cats as a natural rodent-control solution. Project Purr operates a resale store, Rescued Treasures, in downtown Santa Cruz to help fund its rescue efforts. Located about 20 miles north of San Jose, Project Purr is one of five animal shelters and rescues serving Santa Cruz County.
