Home Again Rescue is a nonprofit, incorporated rescue organization based in Belk, Alabama, located in Fayette County, about 35 miles southeast of Tuscaloosa. One other animal shelter or rescue also operates in Fayette County. The organization was founded as Home Again Dalmatian Rescue and focuses on pulling dogs from kill shelters, primarily purebred dogs though not limited to Dalmatians, and rarely accepts owner-released animals unless the dog would otherwise face a kill shelter or life outdoors. Rather than operating a physical kennel, it relies on a network of foster homes, including locations in Winona, Mississippi and Hartselle, Alabama, to care for and rehome dogs.
