Krause Animal Foundation is a no-kill animal shelter serving abandoned, abused, and stray dogs and cats, located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania in Cumberland County, about 9 miles northeast of Harrisburg, PA. The Foundation is run primarily by a dedicated corps of volunteers and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, relying entirely on private funding through donations, membership dues, grants, and fundraising activities. Supporters can get involved through membership, the Guardian Angel sponsorship program, volunteering, or donations that provide food, medical care, and safe shelter for animals awaiting adoption.
