Angel's Rest Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit shelter and care facility located in New Richmond, Ohio, in Clermont County, about 20 miles northwest of Covington, Kentucky, and one of 10 animal shelters or rescues serving that county. The sanctuary cares for dogs and cats who have been left alone and helpless due to illness, disease, old age, or neglect, working to rehabilitate, foster, and find adoptive homes while also serving as a hospice for animals nearing the end of their lives. Its Foster For Life Program takes on full, lifetime responsibility for the homeless animals in its care, making decisions with only the animals' best interests in mind. As a 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Southwest Ohio, it relies on individual donations and also operates a thrift store in Amelia, Ohio, with all profits going back into its animal care programs.
