Our adoption philosophy is straightforward: we prioritize finding suitable homes for Great Danes rather than merely matching dogs to potential adopters.

Adoption process

When you decide to adopt a Gentle Giant, the following steps will be followed: First, you will need to submit your application. This application is subject to an approval process that prioritizes the best interests of the dog. We will conduct veterinary and/or reference checks, and a home inspection will also take place. Please ensure that your application is signed and dated for it to be considered. Once your application is approved, a recovery fee will apply, ranging from $150 to $450. Next, you will need to complete the adoption contract, which requires you to review and agree to the terms and conditions of the adoption. Finally, you can take your new friend home!
