Doberman Rescue of the Triad in Greensboro, NC
Doberman Rescue of the Triad is located in Greensboro, North Carolina, within Guilford County, roughly 10 miles west of Winston-Salem, and is one of 15 animal shelters and rescues serving the Guilford County area. As a rescue organization, it was created to find homes for abandoned, abused, neglected, and owner-surrendered Doberman Pinschers, with adoption service areas extending into Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. All dogs placed through the program are made available for loving adoption rather than sale, and are current on vaccinations, heartworm-free, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before going to their new homes. The organization operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and its Elijah's Fund helped build a dedicated rescue facility, Elijah's House, which continues to rely on donations for day-to-day operating costs.
