Animal Rescue & Foster Program in Greensboro, NC
Animal Rescue & Foster Program (ARFP) is a rescue organization based in Greensboro, North Carolina, located in Guilford County, where 14 other animal shelters and rescues also operate; the group sits about 10 miles west of Winston-Salem, NC. ARFP focuses its rescue efforts on kittens and puppies 12 weeks of age and younger, taking in animals reported by the public through its rescue phone line and email. Adoptable dogs and cats are placed through the organization's Next Step Adoption Center, and adoption fees help cover veterinary care such as vaccines, deworming, and spay/neuter services. ARFP also relies on volunteers and community events, such as adoption fairs, to support its mission of finding homes for animals in need.
