Humane Society of Imperial Valley in El Centro, CA
The Humane Society of Imperial County provides shelter for dogs, cats, rabbits, and occasionally pigs. The organization does not euthanize animals due to space constraints. We collaborate with rescue groups to transfer animals from our facility to foster homes, where they can be adopted. Additionally, we partner with Wings of Rescue to transport animals to shelters and rescues in other states where there is a higher demand for adoptions. We also organize adoption events in both San Diego and El Centro to facilitate the rehoming of animals.

Adoption fees differ depending on the specific animal. Each adopter is required to complete a contract. All animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and dewormed.
