Whiskers Animal Benevolent League is a no-kill animal shelter located in Albany, New York, in Albany County, roughly 4 miles south of Albany, NY, where 9 other animal shelters or rescues also operate. Since 1982, Whiskers has served as the Capital Region's leading no-kill rescue for abandoned, abused and stray cats, offering them love, sanctuary and forever homes. It is a 100% volunteer-run organization funded entirely through donations, and it also runs a Barn Friends Forever program to place feral cats in barn homes. Whiskers is registered with New York State as Rescue #RR-304.
