Adoption Process

The adoption fee for cats that are already spayed or neutered is $45. If the cat has not been altered, there is an additional surgical fee of $25 for male cats and $45 for female cats. For dogs that are already spayed or neutered, the adoption fee is $55. If the dog has not been altered, there is an additional surgical fee of $65. All animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving our shelter. The adoption fees include a collar, an ID tag, a rabies vaccination (if the pet is old enough), the implantation of an ID microchip, and lifetime registration for that microchip. There is a 24-hour waiting period from application to approval. Adoptions are limited to individuals residing within a 50-mile radius of the shelter.
