Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester and Monroe County, is located in Fairport, New York, about 15 miles northwest of Rochester, in Monroe County, where 11 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. The organization shelters and rehomes a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, small animals, birds, reptiles, farm animals, and horses and donkeys, and also runs a Humane Law Enforcement division that investigates animal cruelty complaints. Since adopting a new strategic plan in 2018, Lollypop Farm has achieved a save rate of over 90% for cats and dogs. Beyond adoptions, the humane society offers foster care, spay/neuter and TNVR services, humane education programs, and community resources such as lost-and-found and pet re-homing assistance.
