Common Sense for Animals is a no-kill animal shelter located in Broadway, New Jersey, in Warren County, roughly 25 miles west of Allentown, PA, and one of 14 animal shelters or rescues serving the Warren County area. The organization operates around "six pillars," extending its mission beyond companion animals to food animals, research animals, wildlife, oceans/rivers/estuaries, and the environment, and it offers adoptable dogs, cats, and small animals. CSA is currently running a capital campaign to build a new shelter facility on land it owns outright, to be operated through its Board of Trustees. The shelter also hosts community fundraising and educational events throughout the year, such as bake sales, a 5K run/walk, and its annual Tricky-Tray fundraiser.
