Central California SPCA is a humane society located in Fresno, California, in Fresno County, about 3 miles east of Fresno—home to 16 other animal shelters and rescues in the county. Helping animals since 1895, the organization operates an Animal Center offering safe refuge, nourishment, medical care, and adoption services for cats, dogs, small pets, and barnyard animals. Its programs also include humane investigations, spay/neuter services, behavior and training, humane education, and vaccination clinics, supported by staff and volunteers dedicated to lifesaving care. Last year alone, the organization provided lifesaving care to 2,392 animals.
