About this shelter

Beartooth Humane Alliance in Red Lodge, MT

Beartooth Humane Alliance is a humane society based in Red Lodge, Montana, in Carbon County, about 50 miles northeast of Billings. Operating as a 501(c)3 nonprofit for 20 years, the organization does not run a physical shelter but instead relies on a network of foster homes to care for animals until they find permanent homes. Its mission is to assist the people and animals of Carbon and Stillwater Counties by facilitating adoptions, reuniting lost pets, promoting responsible pet care through education, and helping to solve dog and cat overpopulation. Beartooth Humane Alliance also offers free and low-cost spay/neuter services, including its Nip & Tuck program for outdoor cats, and places spayed, neutered, and vaccinated barn cats through its Working Cats program.
