Second Chance Animal Rescue is a rescue organization based in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, located in Ramsey County, about 10 miles southwest of St. Paul, MN. It's one of 12 animal shelters and rescues serving the Ramsey County area, alongside 11 others in our database. Incorporated in 1994 as an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3), the organization is dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and adopting out homeless dogs and cats into loving and responsible homes, while educating the public on respect for animal life and the importance of spaying and neutering to reduce euthanasia rates. Rather than operating a physical shelter, Second Chance relies on an extensive network of foster homes, and adoptable animals can be met and visited through their foster families seven days a week.
