Milton Animal League is an animal shelter located in Milton, Massachusetts, roughly 8 miles north of Boston, in Norfolk County, where 15 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. It is a dedicated volunteer organization, and a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit, that supports the Milton Animal Control Officer in caring for animals at the Milton Animal Shelter. Every animal in their care receives a veterinary physical exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, blood work, spay or neuter surgery, and a microchip, and remains safely housed until placed with a loving forever home. The shelter, now located at 100 Access Road in Milton, welcomes visitors to see cats during set weekday and Saturday hours, while dogs can be viewed by appointment only.
