The Greyhound Project is an animal shelter organization based in Milton, Massachusetts, in Norfolk County, about 8 miles north of Boston, and is one of 16 animal shelters/rescues serving the Norfolk County area. Its mission is to promote the welfare and adoption of greyhounds by providing support and information to adoption organizations, adopters, and the public. The organization maintains an adoption agency directory connecting people with greyhound adoption groups across the country, and publishes Celebrating Greyhounds, an award-winning quarterly magazine devoted to greyhounds as pets that has run for over 21 years. It also produces desk and wall calendars featuring adopted retired racing greyhounds placed by adoption groups around the world.
