House Rabbit Network is a rabbit rescue based in Woburn, Massachusetts, located in Middlesex County, roughly 15 miles northeast of Lowell and among 33 other animal shelters and rescues in the county. Founded in 2000 by rabbit expert Suzanne Trayhan, the organization has grown into a team of over 150 volunteers dedicated to rescuing rabbits across New England, providing veterinary care, and spaying or neutering every rabbit that comes through their doors. Beyond adoption, HRN offers fostering, bunsitting, bonding services, and spa days, while working to educate the public and challenge misconceptions about rabbit care. Some rabbits with chronic illness are placed in sanctuary hospice foster homes, reflecting the organization's commitment to giving every bunny a pain-free life in a loving home.
